If there are two places that sum up this summer for me, it is this little spot on the South Bank and Partizan Brewing. One really led to the other, as it was seeing Partizan on the menu at Look Mum No Hands that made me stop and have a nose. I am now drooling at the thought of a cold, fruity pint of Beavertown Gamma Ray, a pale ale I have found hard to beat with the exception of a Partizan Citra. Its appearance is deceptive and it is quite bitter but has just the right amount of fruitiness to take the edge off, seriously mouth watering stuff. Surprisingly given the location, I have always managed to get a seat at one of their tables right by the river. If you haven’t yet made it down there you only have until the 8th September at which point I will be mourning its closing until what I hope will be sooner than next summer. Come baaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!!
